2 summers ago I was in a play called “Hairspray”. I had the part of Little Inez and the character is black, but it was still a fun role to play.

 My character had a solo. I practiced the song and I had to sing it very loud, but luckily I have a strong and loud voice. Each day I got better at singing my solo. I also had roles where I was acting. So I had to practice my lines and my hard solo. 

The play was on and I was scared about singing my part. I got to the front of the stage and sung loudly, and everyone screamed and cheered loudly. I was so proud of myself. It was the proudest moment of my life.
